In the heartwarming month of May, the fragrant aroma of zongzi leaves fills the air. As the traditional Dragon Boat Festival approaches, Suzhou Tongtai New Energy organized a zongzi‑making competition under the theme “Festival Spirit, Tongtai Unity,” aiming to enrich employees’ cultural festivities and strengthen team cohesion. More than 200 Tongtai staff gathered together, savoring the festive atmosphere. At 5 p.m., the pre‑prepared ingredients—sticky rice, sweet bean paste, zongzi leaves, candied dates, and more—were neatly arranged on the tables. Participants were divided into ten teams, and at the host’s signal, everyone got to work, quickly finding their rhythm. They rolled up the zongzi leaves, stuffed them with rice, and as the leaves fluttered back and forth, the finished zongzi were tied with string. In the deft hands of each participant, fragrant zongzi leaves and glistening grains of rice were transformed in an instant into beautifully shaped, plump zongzi.

High‑Current Module Junction Box Certification: Suzhou Tongtai New Energy has obtained the DEKRA Seal certificate for a 30‑A rated, three‑piece photovoltaic junction box, supporting 166/210 mm large‑wafer modules.
With the launch of large‑wafer solar cells and modules—such as 166 mm and 210 mm wafers—the power output of photovoltaic modules has reached up to 500 W, bringing us one step closer to grid parity. However, increasing wafer size not only boosts efficiency and power; it also leads to a steady rise in internal current. Recently, Suzhou Tongtai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. obtained DEKRA’s world‑first DEKRA Seal certification for a three‑part photovoltaic junction box rated at 30 A. This three‑part junction box incorporates the latest generation of modular design, delivering excellent thermal management even under high currents—far exceeding the conventional 18 A—and demonstrating outstanding heat dissipation. The product not only meets the IEC 62790:2014 standard for junction boxes but also significantly outperforms traditional designs in terms of performance and reliability, elevating operational safety and dependability for PV modules, particularly those featuring large 166/210 mm wafers, TOPCon, HIT, and bifacial cells. Mr. Bai Licheng, Director of Solar Services for DEKRA East Asia and South Asia, stated: “Suzhou Tongtai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. boasts a dedicated team specializing in the development and design of modular junction boxes. Their newly introduced 30 A‑rated junction box is well‑suited to meet the demands of high‑current modules using large wafers, ensuring long‑term reliable operation.
