High‑Current Module Junction Box Certification: Suzhou Tongtai New Energy has obtained the DEKRA Seal certificate for a 30‑A rated, three‑piece photovoltaic junction box, supporting 166/210 mm large‑wafer modules.

With the launch of large‑wafer solar cells and modules—such as 166 mm and 210 mm wafers—the power output of photovoltaic modules has reached up to 500 W, bringing us one step closer to grid parity. However, increasing wafer size not only boosts efficiency and power; it also leads to a steady rise in internal current. Recently, Suzhou Tongtai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. obtained DEKRA’s world‑first DEKRA Seal certification for a three‑part photovoltaic junction box rated at 30 A. This three‑part junction box incorporates the latest generation of modular design, delivering excellent thermal management even under high currents—far exceeding the conventional 18 A—and demonstrating outstanding heat dissipation. The product not only meets the IEC 62790:2014 standard for junction boxes but also significantly outperforms traditional designs in terms of performance and reliability, elevating operational safety and dependability for PV modules, particularly those featuring large 166/210 mm wafers, TOPCon, HIT, and bifacial cells.
