Founded in 2013, Tongtai New Energy is a specialized supplier of photovoltaic power semiconductor modules and junction boxes. It is also the first company to achieve mass production of photovoltaic power semiconductor modules, as well as photovoltaic module junction boxes and connectors, providing comprehensive system solutions for photovoltaic modules and power‑station protection.

The company has been recognized as a “National Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative ‘Little Giant’ Enterprise” and a “Jiangsu Province High-Tech Enterprise.” It currently employs 500 staff members, including more than 90 R&D personnel, and holds over 300 core patents, several of which—particularly invention patents—have become industry benchmarks for product development and manufacturing process standards.

In terms of product manufacturing, the company boasts a monthly production capacity of 50 million power modules (10 GW), 7 million photovoltaic junction boxes (4 GW), and 7 million photovoltaic connectors (4 GW). Leveraging its outstanding product R&D capabilities and lean management practices, the company has established a competitive edge over peers in performance, quality, and cost, thereby leading industry development in its specialized segments.

Its main product lines include down jackets, fashion apparel, and sportswear. The company’s products are exported to Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Germany, the United States, Italy, and other countries. It is listed among Shanghai’s Top 500 enterprises and ranked 85th among private enterprises in Shanghai in 2017.
